200 TV Artists Cited in China
Two hundreds TV artists from across China were honored in a grand ceremony on July 9.
Yu Zhifeng and 99 others were on the list of 100 Best TV Artists, while Wang Baohua and 99 others were named 100 Best Veteran TV Artists.
The biannual event was started in 1998 by the Chinese Television Artists Association in response to Chinese President Jiang Zemin's call for artists who are both talented and moral.
Ding Guangen, the minister in charge of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, spoke at the ceremony.
