Fujian Destroys Counterfeit Foreign Cigarettes
A total of 18,000 cartons of counterfeit foreign cigarettes were destroyed today in east China's Fujian Province.
The fake cigarettes, including counterfeits of Marlboro, the brand name of Philip Morris, were seized when they were being smuggled outside China, according to the customs officials.
The customs has launched an investigation in a bid to tackle smuggling and counterfeiting rings in Fujian's Yunxiao County.
