CPPCC Group Stresses Ideological, Political Work
Persistence in ideological and political work represents a long-standing principle for the Communist Party of China (CPC) in leading the nation forward, said a group of members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Friday.
At a forum on the enhancement of ideological and political work, the CPPCC members held that the work is of the utmost importance to the Party and the nation as a whole.
The ideals, beliefs, spirit and creativity of the people will ultimately determine the future of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.
Therefore, ideological and political work must be enhanced to rally the wisdom and strength of the people for the construction of the country, they said.
In their discussions, the CPPCC members also noted that, as it is largely devoted to uniting people from all walks of life, the CPPCC must meet the demands of the time and seek new methods to enhance its ideological and political work.
