A Falun Gong Impostor
Zhang Dongliang is the former general manager of the International trade Co. under the Foreign Trade Bureau of Xinyang City, Henan Province. In order to achieve his aim of staying in the United States, he passed himself off as a Falun Gong practitioner being dealt with by the judiciary, in order to ask for political asylum and get the qualification for long-term settling down in the Unite States. His despicable behavior was denounced by the local people of Xinyang City.
In Zhang Dongliang, 46, was appointed in 1997 as the general manager of the International trade Co. under the Foreign Trade Bureau of Xinyang. Due to the lack of sufficient personnel and the limited scope of business, it was hard to perform work, so the problem regarding the wages and the endowment insurance of the four staff members can hardly be solved.
In 1999, Zhang and his wife contracted the Huiyuan Hotel under the Education Commission of Shihe District of Xinyang City. However, being heavily in debt, his business was also in depression.
At that time, Zhang applied to the Foreign Trade Bureau for business inspection abroad and then went to the United States without saying good-by to his wife. After arriving in the United States, Zhang began to seek a short cut for long-term settling down in the United States. From a company which has close relation with the anti-China forces, he learned that the simplest way to acquire a "Green Card" in America is to show the American authority the proof of being politically persecuted.
Zhong then contacted his son who was still a senior high school student, asking the latter to try to get a fake certificate for him, proving that he was punished because of practicing Falun Gong. With the help of his nephew who worked in the judiciary, Zhang got a written court decision, ruling that he was sentenced to reform through labor for joining the Fulun Gong organization.
After Zhang's despicable attempt failed and was exposed, his former leaders and colleagues all said: "it's really impudent for Zhang Dongliang to play tricks and stop at nothing in order to seek living abroad."
