China Welcomes Tri-Party Mideast Peace Summit Meeting
Foreign Ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi said that China welcomes the summit meeting by Palestine, Israel, and the United States, to be held next week in the US.
He made the remark in Beijing Thursday at a regular press conference in response to a question requesting comments on this issue.
Sun said that China supports any effort that is conducive to pushing forward the Mideast peace talks, adding that China sincerely hopes the summit meeting will end up with positive results, so as to bring about substantial progress in the peace talks.
