Chinese Vice President to Visit Five Asian and European Countries,FM Spokesman
Vice President Hu Jintao will pay an official visit to the Union of Myanmar, the Kingdom of Thailand, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Belarus, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, from July 16 to 30.
This was announced by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi Friday at a regular press conference.
He said that Hu will pay the visit at the invitation of Vice- Chairman Gen. Maung Aye of the State Peace and Development Council of the Union of Myanmar, the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand, Vice President Megawati Soekarno Putri of the Republic of Indonesia, President Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko of the Republic of Belarus, and President Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan respectively.
