Beijing Joins Hands with Transnational Corporations for Further ProgressThe economic cooperation between Beijing and transnational corporations has reached a considerable scale. By the end of May, 150 out of the top 500 world transnational corporations have invested in Beijing with the approved foreign-funded enterprises so far coming to a total of 15 thousand.To further quicken the pace in the construction of an international metropolis, Beijing municipal government issued a series of rules and regulations in January last year for creating favorable conditions, encouraging transnational corporations to set up regional headquarters in Beijing. Recently, Beijing formally issued confirmation certificates to 11 famous transnational corporations, marking a new level reached in the economic cooperation between Beijing and transnational corporations. |
