1.2 Billion New Output Value by 30 Foreign Enterprises Predicted in Fujian
For an overall improvement of investment environment utilization of foreign funds has been placed on a high quality plane. Illustrative is a continuously increased number of large foreign-funded enterprise undertakings launched in Fujian, said Governor Xi Jinping.
The said 30 foreign-funded enterprise undertakings known for having a great potential for development will claim a new output value of 12 billion yuan this year, along with an added amount of 14.5 billion yuan from sales, to bring a 6.3% industrial growth in the whole province of Fujian.
Xi made the remarks at a conference on economic restructuring held Tuesday in Fujian. He added that a big increase in the number of foreign-funded enterprise undertakings especially those of large and medium-sized ones is beneficial to a readjustment of industrial structure and sustained rapid economic growth in giving rise to a new active growth point of economy in Fujian.
