Spain Congratulates Fox for Election Triumph in Mexico
Spain's Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar congratulated Monday opposition presidential candidate Vicente Fox for his victory at Sunday's Presidential Elections in Mexico.
Aznar also transmitted his congratulations to Mexico's outgoing leader Ernesto Zedillo for his historic role carried out these years in this Latin American country as well as his testimony of friendship and personal appreciation.
Spain's head of state talked in the afternoon with Fox, to who he expressed trust in the keeping of excellent bilateral relations between Spain and Mexico, said Spanish authorities.
