East China Port Handles Million TEUs of Containers
The port city of Qingdao in east China's Shandong Province had handled one million TEUs of containers by June 28, two days ahead of schedule for the first half of the year.
This made Qingdao's container handling capacity rank third in China after that of Shanghai and Shenzhen, but first among all northern ports.
