Kim Jong Il receives Jong Ju Yong and Jong Mong Hon

General Secretary Kim Jong Il received Jong Ju Yong, Honorary President of the South Korean Hyundai Business Group, and Jong Mong Hon, chairman of the Hyundai Asan board of directors, in Wonsan on June 29. This was reported by Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) today.

Kim Yong Sun, chairman of the Korean Asia-Pacific Peace Committee, was present.

Kim Jong Il warmly greeted Jong Ju Yong and Jong Mong Hon, the first visitors to the north after the inter-Korean summit, and talked with them in an amicable atmosphere.

He expressed the belief that they would make a positive contribution to implementing the north-south joint declaration by pushing forward the work for national unity, reconciliation, exchange and cooperation.

On the occasion they expressed their heartfelt thanks to him for his kind reception and encouraging words.

Kim Jong Il arranged a dinner in honor of them and their party and had a souvenir picture taken with them.
