Int'l Industrial Park Being Built in East China
Construction on a Hai'er international industrial park began recently in Qingdao, a booming city in east China's Shandong Province.
The Hai'er Industrial Park, involving an investment of 500 million yuan (about 60 million U.S. dollars), is being built in the Hai'er Industrial Zone.
The 20-ha park is mainly designed to meet the demand of Hai'er 's suppliers to establish their production centers near Hai'er.
Several companies from Singapore and Mauritius have agreed to invest in the park.
Hai'er is one of China's largest household electric appliances manufacturers, with marketing outlets in more than 70 countries.
It exports more than 100 million U.S. dollars worth of products each year.
