China to Face Sweden in Table Tennis Friendly
China will face
Sweden
in a rematch of World Table Tennis Team Championship final earlier this year when two sides meet in a friendly match on Saturday.
The two teams will field the same line-ups as at the February championship, with China featuring world and Olympic champion Liu Guoliang, Kong Linghui and Liu Guozheng.
The Swedish team will comprise of the three veterans who edged China 3-2 in Kuala Lumpur. They are Jan-Ove Waldner, Peter Karlsson and Jorgen Persson.
China leads
Sweden
with five wins against three losses in the past eight team encounters in over two decades.
