Sun Microsystems Keen on China's E-Commerce

Sun Microsystems Inc. announced Thursday that it regards China as an important market for its iForce Project, which helps companies go online.

Through the project, Sun will offer package services including its new dot.com products, technological consultancy and solution designs to customers, said Simon Leung, general manager of Sun China.

He said that to better serve startup companies in China, Sun launched two software programs, Startup Essentials and Startup Accelerator.

The world's major computer server and workstation company recorded a sales volume of US$ 14.2 billion last year.
