NPC Vice-Chairman Meets ROK Guest
Peng Peiyun, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress and president of All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), met Thursday with Hee-Ho Lee, wife of President Kim Dae-Jung of the Republic of Korea (ROK).
They had a friendly conversation on issues of common interests.
Lee is visiting China at the invitation of the ACWF. She discussed with the ACWF representatives on furthering the friendly exchanges between the women of the two countries and attended a ceremony to mark the publication of the Chinese edition of her book "Prayer Before the Dawn".
