The Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) announced Wednesday that it is discharging from military service a brigadier general, who was formerly dismissed from his re-deployment division chief position after sexually harassing the wives of officers lower in rank than himself.
The 54-year-old brigader general known only as Song submitted his resignation earlier that day taking moral responsibility for the incidents.
Song had two wives of his field officers remain in the same room with him, and all his men and the other wives leave the room, after a long dinner in the early hours of June 7, the Military Police revealed Tuesday. Song was charged with ordering the lights to be turned off, after which he kissed his men's wives.
