Chinese and Kazakhstan Jointly Issue Stamps

The post administrations of China and Kazakhstan have Wednesday jointly issued a set of two stamps titled "He Kettle and Torsyk Kettle".

The ceremonies marking the first-day issue of the stamps was held in Beijing and Alma-Ata respectively.

Featuring the He Kettle and the Torsyk Kettle, the stamps were designed by Chinese artist Wang Huming and Kazakhstan's artist Raissa B. Slyussareva.

He kettle was an ancient ware in Qing Dynasty, made in Jingdezhen Town, a famous ware capital in Jiangxi province, as a container for wine or tea.

Torsyk Kettle is used by Kazakhstan people during travel. It is very convenient by hanging the durable leather-made kettle on the saddle.
