Chinese State Councilor Meets Japanese Delegation

State councilor Ismail Amat met Tuesday with a delegation from Japan's Junior Chamber led by its President Kazuyasu Ueshima.

Ismail Amat praised the efforts of Japan's Junior Chamber to promote Sino-Japanese relations and exchanges between youth of the two countries, and said that the two countries should work together to contribute to peace and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region and the world at large.

He said he hopes that youth organizations of the two countries would do more to promote Sino-Japanese friendship from generation to generation.

The Japanese delegation is here to attend celebrations marking the 15th anniversary of friendly exchanges between Japan's Junior Chamber and the All-China Youth Federation.
