CPPCC Vice-Chairman Meets Brazilian Delegation

Li Guixian, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met Tuesday with Renato Rabelo, deputy chairman of the Communist Party of Brazil, and his delegation.

This is the first visit to China by a delegation from the Communist Party of Brazil since 1976, which is aimed at learning more about China's reform and opening-up and socialist construction and strengthening relations between communist parties in the two countries.

The Brazilian guests arrived in Beijing on June 18 and later visited Guiyang, capital city of southwest China's Guizhou province, and Shanghai.
