Spanish Prime Minister Visits Sino-Spanish Joint Venture

Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar visited a local passenger station in eastern Beijing Tuesday.

The Bawangfen station, designed in European style, neighbors a stop of a subway and the starting station of a highway linking Beijing and Shenyang, capital city of northeast China's Liaoning province, which will soon be put in operation.

The Bawangfen station belongs to the Beijing-Alsa Passenger Transport Co. Ltd., a joint venture set up by Beijing No.4 Transport Company and Spain's Alsa Group in 1994.
