The effort is to publicize the basics on drug awareness and to encourage citizens to help police uncover drug trafficking and related crimes. In another development, over 10,000 teenagers in northeastern China's Jilin Province today signed their names on two white banners, vowing to stay drug-free and to fight drug-related crimes. The United Nations set June 26 as the International Day Against Drug Abuse in 1987, with the support of 138 countries. |
