An international information technology and equipment exhibition will be held in Dalian in northeast China's Liaoning Province on July 5-8.
More than 100 enterprises from Japan, the United States, Finland and Germany, and some Chinese provinces and municipalities will attend the show, according to Xia Deren, deputy mayor of Dalian.
A batch of leading transnational consortia, including Toshiba, Nokia and Siemens, will put on show their latest technology and products, representing the latest trends in the information technology in the 21st century, the official said.
The exhibition area will cover 7,000 square meters. It is jointly sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Dalian municipal government.
