Young Chinese, Japanese Pianists to Compete in Shanghai

Young pianists from China and Japan will join a contest to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the friendly relationship between Shanghai and Osaka, a major city in Japan.

Starting in July, the contest is to last six months. The pianists will be divided into four age groups of primary school, middle school, senior high school and college. The first eight Shanghai pianists will go to Osaka in December for the finals of the contest.
