Tianjin Sees Steady Rise in Foreign Trade

North China port city of Tianjin registered a steady rise in imports and exports in the first five months this year, hitting 6.096 billion U.S. dollars-worth, or an increase of 25.4 percent over the same period of last year.

Imports rose 31.6 percent, to hit 3 billion U.S. dollars-worth, and exports grew 20 percent, to reach 3.096 billion U.S. dollars- worth in January-May, according to the Tianjin Municipal Customs.
