Schools Urged to Offer Courses On Drug PreventionThe General Office of the Ministry of Education recently issued a circular urging primary and high schools to provid courses to teach about the dangers of drug abuse.The circular was issued days before the International Anti-Drug Day which falls on June 26. Courses will be offered to fifth and sixth graders and all high school students from June 26. Lectures, videos or discs, books, contests and posters could be used to teach the students about drugs, the circular says. Police officers and even drug addicts could be invited to give lectures, while the students can visit exhibitions or rehabilitation centers. |
