Holland Sets up Dairy Industry Center in China

A dairy industry training and demonstration center has been set up jointly by Holland and China in the suburbs of this capital of central China's Henan Province.

Both sides shared the 16 million yuan (nearly US$ 2 million) investment in the project, which occupies some 70 ha of land and contains three cattle farms and 47 pastures.

According to a five-year agreement reached by the two sides, the center will introduce advanced technologies and facilities from Holland to Henan, as well as help train local farmers.

The new center is the third agricultural assistance project for China that Holland has joined, a local official source said.
