China to Expand Huangshan Mountain Airport
China will expand an airport for tourists heading for the picturesque Huangshan Mountain in the eastern Anhui Province.
The goal is to enable the Huangshan Mountain Airport to handle 920,000 passengers and 41.8 million tons of cargo annually, three times and twice the present handling capacity respectively.
The project, which is to kick off on August 1, will involve an investment of more than 200 million yuan (about US$25 million).
