Another Great Wall Ruin Opens To Visitors
A well-preserved section of the Great Wall at Shixiaguan in suburban Beijing recently opened to visitors.
The Shixiaguan stretch of the wall is five kilometers southwest of the famous Badaling portion, which has received up to 100 million visitors in the past 20 years.
According to a local source, the little renovation of the Shixiaguan section was done to highlight the original look of the ruin.
