Bank of China Macao Branch out with Mobile Banking Service

A new thing has been added into the electronic products of Bank of China Macao Branch (BCMB): the "Zhongyin Zhida Mobile Bank", which provides banking services via mobile phones, has been formally launched today.

BCMB is the first bank in Macao region to present such service.

This service combines mobile communication with finance. So long as clients apply to BCMB for SIM card supporting this service, they can make a series of operations of investment and finance by using cellular phones, including checking currency exchange rate and stock prices, making stock deals, learning about account balance, paying fees for water, power and phones.

Zhu Chi, General Manger of BCMB says that this move can help turn over a new chapter in the application of electronic technology in financial industry in Macao.
