III. Concerning Conviction-Realizing communism through socialism is our highest social ideal, building primary-stage socialism is our near-term goal.
The development of human society from the low stage to high stage is a "natural historical course", the advance of socialism to communism is the ultimate objective and necessary result of the development of modern social productive forces, it is also the highest social ideal of the Communists. Building primary-stage socialism is our near-term goal, as well as the firm and unshakable conviction of the Chinese Communists.
IV. Concerning Confidence-There is great hope for China, for socialism and for humankind
Our world is by no mean tranquil, and our country is also faced with many difficulties in its way forward and is patent with many hidden troubles, but the general situation is that there is great hope for China, for socialism and for humankind.
V. Concerning Trust-"the key lies in the Party and the people", in a certain sense, the key lies in leading cadres.
Trust here refers mainly to people's trust in the leading cadres, in fact, it is also trust in the Party and the State power. Its more penetrating meaning is trust in Marxism and the socialist system. Leading cadres win the trust through their competent and efficient work
In the belief-trust-confidence interacting structure, trust is an important link, while leading cadres are the load-carrying point in this link. "The key lies in the Party and people", in a certain sense, the key lies in leader, in the vision, quality and capability of leading cadres.
VI. Our Strength Lies in the People
Belief, conviction, trust can be summed up as this: As the people are sure to win, so is the cause of the people. Belief, conviction and trust in Marxism and socialism are, in the final analysis, based on the interests and strength of the masses of the people.
