China Issues More Treasury Bonds
China will issue 20 billion yuan worth of treasury bonds on June 21, the Ministry of Finance said Tuesday.
The five-year treasury bonds has a fixed annual interest rate of three percent. The treasury bonds will be issued exclusively for corporate investors.
The treasury bonds will be open for sales from June 21 to 27. Then they will be traded on interbank bond market.
Forty-six financial institutions have underwritten the bonds through a bid on June 19, including the Bank of China, the Construction Bank of China and the Fujian Xingye Bank.
