China Produces High Quality Lubricating Oil
A lubricating oil company affiliated with Sinopec began marketing an engine oil Tuesday.
According to Zhang Chunhui, deputy chief engineer of the Sinopec's Great Wall Lubricating Oil Group Co., the multi-grade general-purpose engine oil is one of the best of its kind in China and overseas.
The oil is energy-saving and environment-friendly. It can greatly reduce the pollutants in auto exhaust emission, said Zhang.
The oil is suitable for name brand cars such as Cardillac, Lincoln, Benz, limousines and racing cars, Zhang said.
The company is now China's largest high grade lubricating oil producer. It is capable of producing 13 kinds of lubricating oil products, accounting for 10 percent of the Chinese market.
The company's products are exported to Russia, the Republic of Korea, Iran, the Sudan and other countries and regions. In 1999, the company produced 320,000 tons of lubricating oil.
