Chinese Freight Train Exported to Developed Country

Some 94 freight trains made in Heilongjiang's Qiqihar Locomotive (Group) Co. Ltd., China, were recently delivered to Australia, marking the beginning of the export of Chinese freight trains to developed countries and indicating the rise of Chinese manufacturing level of freight trains to the international advanced ranks.

In recent years, the said company has actively developed the international train markets. In 1991, China exported 183 freight trains to Botswana in the South Africa, this was followed by the export of 410 freight trains and four railway cranes to Myanmar and Nigeria.

It's said that the freight trains exported to Australia are valued at US $3.8 million.
