Cisco Enhances Cooperation with Chinese University
US Cisco Systems Inc. has joined forces with a Chinese university in further tapping the huge Chinese market.
According to an agreement between the San Jose-based company and Southeast University in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, the two will cooperate in research, development and sales of Internet technology.
A Cisco source said this is the company's first cooperative project in Internet technology with a Chinese university.
Cisco is a leading Internet and telecommunications equipment supplier in the world, with a total capital of US$450 billion.
Southeast University is well-known in China for its development and application of Internet technology.
