Chinese All-Stars Edge NBA Ambassadors 83-80 in Super LeagueChinese Basketball Association (CBA) All-Stars edged NBA Ambassadors 83-80 in Chengdu of Sichuan Province on Saturday in the first leg of the fourth round of the Asian Super League competition. In the first two quarters, the Chinese posted big centers Yao Ming and Wang Zhizhi but failed to beat the faster and more skilled NBA All-Stars, trailing the Ambassadors 16-22 after the first quarter and 34-39 after the second. The third quarter saw the CBA All-Stars stage a rally by revving up the attacks with Yao and Wang substituted and focusing long-range shots from outside.
