Two Copyright Infringers Sentenced in ShanghaiA local court in Shanghai sentenced two copyright infringers to prison terms on Wednesday, according to report of China Radio International.This is the first case of copyright infringement involving criminal sentences in Shanghai. The two defendants pleaded guilty to stealing film copies of a Shanghai urban traffic map and printing 171,000 copies. As well as being ordered to pay a fine each, the two received prison terms of two years and one and a half years respectively. |
