Yi looked in command throughout her second round match and experienced no difficulties in the clash with the 22-year-old Israeli, winning 6-2, 6-2 in just 72 minutes.
Italian Francesca Schiavone, who eliminated top seed and defending champion Anna Smashnova of Israel earlier this week, defeated Nadejda Ostrovskaya of Belarus also in straight sets, making her third round berth at the outdoor hard court of Tashkent tennis stadium.
