Asia Cup Triathlon Championships to Open in Xuzhou

The Asia Cup Triathlon Championships will be held from June 17 to 18 on Yunlong Lake in Xuzhou, east China Jiangsu Province. About 400 athletes from China, Japan, Singapore and other countries and regions will participate in the championships, co-sponsored by China triathlon Association and the People's Government of Xuzhou.

The championships will divide the participants into professional and amatuer groups. International standard distance and multi-ring routes will be adopted.World advanced timekeeping system will be used.

Women athletes Hu Meng and Wang Dan,who have been entitled to take part in the forthcoming Sydney Olimpic Games,are participating the championships.
