Chinese Military Delegation Leaves for US
A military delegation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army led by Nanjing Military Area Commander Liang Guanglie left Friday morning for a goodwill visit to the headquarters of the US Pacific Command.
Liang and his party are on the visit at the invitation of Dennis Cutler Blair, commander-in-chief of the US Pacific Command.
Members of the delegation include Jinan Military Area Deputy Commander Ding Shouyue and Shenyang Military Area Command Deputy Chief of Staff Xu Yuanxian.
Senior Chinese army officers and US diplomatic envoys saw the delegation off at the airport.
