CNNIC Passes ISO9002 Quality AuthenticationChina Network News Information Center (CNNIC) has won a certificate lately awarded by China Electronics Quality Authentication Center. This is the first Internet center to get passed the ISO9002 quality authentication in China.Established in 1997, CNNIC is a non-profit Internet management institution under the leadership of Ministry of Information Industry, an organization recognized by international Internet management organizations. With its goal to serve Internet users, it helps promote a sound and orderly development of China's Internet network. From this year on, CNNIC has set up a domain name registration service system in line with ISO9002 standard, and introduced Domain Name Registration Service Norms. To raise its service level, the center has invested 3 million yuan for the setting up of a pager center and opened the 800 telephone service. Internet users can dial these telephones to get free services on consultation of domain name registration. |
