Integrated Credit Card Service Initiated in Hong Kong
Three Hong Kong banks, namely, Asia Financial Bank, Liu Chong Hing Bank and CheKiang First Bank LTD, lately inaugurated Kalian Co. Ltd, marking the birth of a new type of credit card service.
The new company offers supporting rear credit card service for shareholding banks, including computer system, client hot line, and credit card's authorization and loss reporting. It will develop online service and multi-functional cards in the future.
In addition to increasing operation standard, the new company will streamline its operation process, and the partners will lower costs and increase competitiveness accordingly. It is estimated that through cooperation the three banks will each save a sum of over 10 million Hong Kong dollars respectively.
