Domestic E-Commerce Software on Market

Commerce Ltd. recently developed a set of e-commerce software products tailored to meet the needs of Chinese firms.

Cao Yong, CEO of the company, said that though China has witnessed rapid e-commerce development, Chinese firms need e- commerce software specially developed for them.

Most of the current e-commerce application platforms used by Chinese firms come from overseas. But for Chinese firms with low Internet application levels and limited Internet access, foreign platforms are dissatisfactory.

China now has more than 1,000 e-commerce websites, and their sales volume for this year is expected to reach 350 million yuan. But experts agreed that China's e-commerce is in its preliminary stage and its further development needs cooperation from all corners of the society.

Gao Xinmin, vice-director of the State Information Association, suggested that Chinese software producers develop more e-commerce modes and better services for Chinese firms.

He suggested that they make studies of the true needs of Chinese firms, follow overseas advanced technology, and pay attention to after-sale services and the mobile e-commerce development.
