Shanghai Exports Toothpaste Production Line to DPRKThe equipment for a tooth paste production line in on its way to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), which is expected to go into operation there this autumn.The production line, which is valued at 7 million yuan and can produce 50 million tubes of toothpaste, was produced by China's largest toothpaste producer Shanghai Toothpaste Factory Co. Ltd. The Shanghai company is also scheduled to train employees for the DPRK plant. The Shanghai company, which accounts for 30 percent of China's toothpaste market, made its first debut on the international market six years ago when it set up a joint venture in Indonesia. With 40 varieties of toothpaste, the Shanghai company also plans to set up a toothpaste plant in Sudan later this year. |
