Reception Marks Sino-Philippine Diplomatic Ties

Philippine ambassador to China Romualdo Ong held a reception in Beijing Monday to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the 102nd anniversary of the independence of the Philippines.

He Luli, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), was among those present at the occasion.

Ong and Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Wang Yi addressed the reception.
