Moldova President Visits Shenzhen
Yu Youjun, acting mayor of Shenzhen in south China's Guangdong Province, said in a meeting with Moldova President Petru Lucinschi here today that Shenzhen is willing to strengthen cooperation with Moldova in a number of areas.
Lucinschi, who arrived in Shenzhen Saturday, visited a local bonded zone and some tourist sites in the city. He expressed his admiration for the achievements made by the city during the past twenty years.
The local business community and Moldova businesspeople, who are here accompanying Lucinschi's visit, held economic and trade talks.
Lucinschi is paying his six-day state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.
