Foreigners in Beijing Pay Taxes With Bank CardsForeigners residing in Beijing have paid 530,000 yuan (about US$63,300) in taxes in the last five months.In the past only two cards issued by the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) could be used to pay tax. Foreigners can now use various bank cards issued by the Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Construction Bank of China, Bank of Communications and ICBC. These changes have helped increase Beijing's local revenue in the first quarter to 7.85 billion yuan, or a 26.5 percent increase.
