Spokeswoman on Illegal Crossing of DPRK CitizensChina handled the illegal crossing of border of citizens of Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in accordance with international law and common practice in the world.Although China did not regard these DPRK people as refugees, China has treated them in a humanitarian way, said Zhang Qiyue, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Thursday at a regular press conference when answering a relevant question. She added that China has taken into consideration the security and stability in the Korean Peninsula while handling this issue.
