China--Moldova Economic and Trade Seminar Held

Visiting Moldova President Petru Lucinschi said Thursday that China and Moldova could develop two- way trade and bilateral economic ties on par with their excellent political relations.

Addressing a Sino-Moldova economic and trade seminar, the President said that Moldova has adopted various measures to stimulate economic development and has created a healthy environment for foreign investment.

He is confident that the two countries can take the advantage of their respective resources to expand trade and economic cooperation.

President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Yu Xiaosong shared the President's view, saying that both China and Moldova have huge potential to be tapped in developing bilateral trade and economic ties.
