Euro Airbus Wins 100-plane Order
Euro Airbus has recently won a 100-plane order from eight Chinese airlines and there are as many as 84 planes in different types produced by this aviation behemoth having been put into operation in China by the end of this March.
The number of planes that China Oriental Airline, Airbus's biggest customer in China, has purchased and will be delivered has already come to a total of 45. China International Airline is the second user of Airbus A-320 and has ordered three. In November 1998, China Southwest Airline put three A340 planes into operation and China Northwest Airline has by its purchase of A310 become another customer of Airbus since April 1992.
