CMC Vice-Chairman Returns From European Trip
Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) Zhang Wannian returned to Beijing Wednesday after concluding his official goodwill visit to Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Zhang's entourage, including Deputy Chief of General Staff of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Xiong Guangkai, Commander of Guangzhou Military Area Command Tao Bojun, Deputy Commander of PLA Air Force Wang Liangwang, Deputy Commander of Second Artillery Force Zhao Xijun, Deputy Commander of Jinan Military Area Command and concurrently Commander of North Sea Fleet Zhang Dingfa and other senior officers, also returned.
CMC Member and Executive Deputy Chief of PLA General Staff Guo Boxiong greeted Zhang and his party at the airport.
